Custom Dozen and Half Dozen Box Builders

Duck Donuts is about creativity and customization. The digital experience needed to reflect that energy.

We built custom dozen and half dozen box builders that visually guide guests through the selection process. Donuts are added in real time, boxes fill visually, and the experience mirrors the in store excitement of building a custom assortment.

At the same time, the system allows for rapid creation and naming of single donut builds. This gives the brand flexibility to introduce new combinations quickly without complexity.

The result is an experience that feels playful, intuitive, and fast while driving larger basket sizes.

The entire menu experience is fueled directly by Olo, eliminating duplicative work for internal teams.

Olo remains the system of record. Menu updates happen once and propagate everywhere. Marketing, commerce, and operations stay aligned without added complexity. Upsells and order details were directly pulled from Olo to create a seamless ordering experience.

This integration reduces errors, saves time, and ensures accuracy across the entire experience.

The checkout experience was rebuilt from the ground up with one goal in mind: completion.
